[Suwon = Newsis] Reporter Kim Kyung-ho – The Gyeonggi Small and Medium Business Support Center (hereinafter referred to as the Gyeonggi SME Center) held an award ceremony for “July’s Proud Entrepreneurs” on the 4th at the Creative Room on the 4th floor of the center's main building.

The "Proud Entrepreneur Award" is presented to companies that participated in the center's various support programs and excelled in the following categories:

- Companies that have grown through the center's support (e.g., increased sales or exports, job creation, enhanced brand recognition).

- Companies that have led in social contributions (e.g., job creation, support for vulnerable groups).

- Companies that have strengthened Gyeonggi Province's reputation.

The Gyeonggi SME Center selected four individuals as July's Proud Entrepreneurs:

-  Jeong Jae-hak, CEO of CN1 Co., Ltd.

- Kim Jang-hyun, CEO of SH Technology Co., Ltd.

- Ha Wae-gu, CEO of ReCube Co., Ltd.

- Ha Young-sik, CEO of Cheongbo Agricultural Corporation Co., Ltd.

CN1 Co., Ltd., a semiconductor equipment manufacturer based in Hwaseong, successfully launched its business through Gyeonggi’s startup support program, the "G-Startup Project." Within seven years of its founding, the company grew from 2 employees to 20, and from annual sales of 40 million KRW to 5 billion KRW. It is expected to continue increasing its revenue and creating jobs.

SH Technology Co., Ltd, an auto parts manufacturing company in Hwaseong, succeeded in localizing auto parts that were previously reliant on imports through its ultra-precision press technology. The company was selected as a Promising SME of Gyeonggi Province in 2012 with the support of the Gyeonggi SME Center and received assistance in participating in domestic and international automotive exhibitions. Since its establishment in 2000, the company has achieved steady annual sales growth of 10–20% and has made significant contributions to job creation.

ReCube Co., Ltd., a food dehydrator manufacturer in Hwaseong, was recognized for its contributions to regional economic revitalization through job creation, hiring 52 new employees over the past two years. The company has also focused on improving employee welfare and development, such as organizing overseas workshops for all staff. Additionally, it has taken the lead in social contributions by signing agreements to support orphaned children and children in need.

Cheongbo Agricultural Corporation Co., Ltd., based in Gwangju, specializes in producing, processing, and distributing eco-friendly agricultural products. As a social enterprise, it fulfills its role as a "good company" by creating jobs and supporting vulnerable groups. The company has been recognized for its stable operation as a social enterprise and for serving as a model for other businesses, thanks to its participation in various programs, such as education, consulting, mentoring, and expos, organized by the Gyeonggi Social Economy Integrated Support Center.

Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi SME Center plans to continue hosting the "Proud Entrepreneur Award" ceremony to discover and promote the success stories of outstanding SMEs in the province.
